As a Principal and co-founder of Invictus Commercial Equities, Michael’s primary responsibilities includes asset and portfolio management, broker relations, investor and client relations, economic and demographic trends, market analysis, due diligence oversight, acquisition and disposition strategies, transaction oversight and business development.
Michael is a consummate risk and project management professional. He leverages his 32 years of experience as a senior level public official, key leader, project manager, and innovator in securing and protecting critical infrastructure to engage community leaders, local business associations, and assess market and consumer strength in order to develop a risk profile and determine suitability for each investment.
While working for the US Department of Homeland Security, he developed and implemented a nationwide counter-improvised explosive device education program building the capacity and capability of Federal, state, and local law enforcement, and the public and private sector securing critical infrastructure, commercial facilities, transportation hubs, and sports arenas and venues across the entire United States and Canada.
Currently residing in Dallas, TX, he is often a guest or keynote speaker to major conferences around the US and Canada speaking on protection and preparedness. Prior to this, Michael served honorably for 23 years within the U.S. Air Force and as a U.S. Army Special Forces Green Beret with deployments overseas during Desert Storm, Operation Enduring Freedom, and Operation Iraqi Freedom. He has a Bachelor of Arts in Homeland Security from the American Military University. Michael is involved in several business-related organizations such as the Arlington, TX Chamber of Commerce and The Real Estate Council, the International Council of Shopping Centers, and Infragard. Michael was named Most Likely to Succeed in his Commercial Real Estate group called the Diamond Inner Circle.
Daniel is a financial transaction analysis and portfolio/investment management expert and has serviced over $50 billion of transactions in public and private deals. Daniel has over a decade of experience and has enjoyed a variety of roles and responsibilities including private banking & investments, business research & analysis, portfolio management, corporate finance, transaction consulting, and private equity investing. He is a natural entrepreneur and has founded multiple businesses over his career across various industries.
While working at PwC, Daniel managed multiple employee teams and worked directly with chief officers of Fortune 500 companies to provide business valuation, analysis and consulting services on contemplated, ongoing, or prior deals. Since, he has taken this experience to commercial real estate markets via Invictus to provide an expert perspective identifying potential risks and profitable strategies in structuring acquisitions. He employs creative solutions to mitigate risks and capitalize on opportunities to increase profits for investors. Concurrently, Daniel offers consulting services for multiple investment groups to assist with their deal analysis, equity & debt structuring, cash flow projections and other financial analysis requests.
Mr. Doxey currently resides in Dallas, TX and serves as a Principal and Co-Founder of Invictus Commercial Equities. In this role, he has responsibility over acquisitions & dispositions, transaction analysis, employee training, asset and portfolio management, deal sourcing, lease analysis, lender and broker relations, project management, and strategic deal structuring.
He received his Bachelor of Science in Finance, emphasizing in both Asset Management and Real Estate, from Brigham Young University in Provo, UT and graduated as a member of the Marriott School of Management’s exclusive "Dean’s List". Daniel is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers. In 2019, Daniel was named Most Likely to Succeed in his Commercial Real Estate group called the Diamond Inner Circle.
Michael Lee, CPA, is a consultant for Invictus Commercial Equities. Mr. Lee has over 35 years of experience in the field of Taxation. Mr. Lee worked for the world’s third-largest accounting firm for 15 years which included tours of duty in the London, England and Los Angeles offices. He then spent ten plus years as the Tax partner of the largest regional firm in the Midwest overseeing a tax practice of over 75 individuals. In 2006 he and a group of professionals from that firm formed Crown Pointe Financial Services a boutique tax firm that specializes in real estate. Mr. Lee is on the Kent State Accounting advisory board and the board of the International Institute. He has had numerous articles published in such periodicals as the Journal of Taxation. He has also spoken at numerous conferences on the topic of Real Estate Taxation most recently at the University of Akron’s annual tax seminar. Mr. Lee graduated with honors from Kent State University
Harriet Tabb, Attorney, is retained by Invictus Commercial Equities. Ms. Tabb has worked in the area of retail and mixed-use development for more than 30 years. Almost all of her new clients have hired her after being across the table from her, the greatest compliment any lawyer can receive. They like her extensive knowledge and experience and her reputation as being “tough, but fair.” They also appreciate her familiarity with non-legal issues that arise in retail and mixed-use development.Harriet was an adjunct professor at SMU Dedman School of Law, where she taught “Real Estate Transactions” with Susan Mills Cipione, also at MCS, for three years (2016, 2017, and 2018). In July 2018, Harriet was the Course Director of the Advanced Real Estate Law Course, a premiere CLE event for commercial and real estate lawyers in Texas.
